Pisces takes us into our sixth sense, where mysticism and quantum physics meet, where nothing is solid and everything is connected.  Every culture and religion has its name for this greater reality ~ the Great Spirit, the Tao, the Force, Buddah, Brahman, Allah, God, Source, etc.
The Hand of God

Neptune, the modern ruler of Pisces and the mythic God of the Sea, provides instructive metaphors for this fluid and ethereal territory.  Like a drop of water, we eternally emerge and dissolve, momentarily an individual expression of the Oneness but never truly separate.  Water, like emotions, can be calm, stormy, and everything in between.  Feelings ebb and flow.  Grief comes in waves.  We are sometimes misty, swamped, lost at sea.  When the fog rolls in, we have to use our sixth sense, intuiting our way.


Pisces takes us into transpersonal territory, far beyond logic and the limits of the mind, into the depths and mysteries of the heart.  In Pisces, we realize that we are multi-dimensional beings and that the gateway to higher dimensions is unconditional love.  We are sometimes unable to see that we are swimming in an ocean of unconditional love.

How do we explore and navigate this mysterious realm in safe and healthy ways?  Through meditation, prayer, contemplation, reading, dreamwork, art, music, dance, gardening, being in nature, silence, gratitude, doing things we love and using your intuition.

According to this powerful universal law, you are continuously sending out vibrations into the Universe.  These vibrations are in the form of your thoughts, feelings and emotions and they can be either positive or negative.  The events, situations and circumstances that you attract in your life will often be in ideal alignment with the vibrations that you are emitting.
The Universe is Watching You and Your Thoughts!
When you are in a genuine state of gratitude, you will be resonating at a higher vibrational frequency because the vibration that you will be sending out will be one of acceptance and harmony.   As a result, you will attract into your life many more situations and experiences to be grateful for.   Expressing heartfelt gratitude for any circumstance projects a magnetic force that attracts to you a lot more of what you are expressing gratitude for.
According to Jack Canfield,  “Being genuinely grateful for what is already current in your life will automatically and effortlessly attract far more very good into your life.  These emotions are of the highest vibrational frequency, and by way of the Law of Attraction will attract even extra to be thankful for.”
Be grateful for even the tough situations in your life because it is by means of these events that you have opportunities to grow.  If you do not express gratitude for the tough situations in your life, you will be resisting and this resistance puts you in a lower vibrational frequency which only serves to attract to you far more difficult events, conditions and circumstances into your life.

Following are just a few of the things that I am grateful for this month: 

I am grateful for all of my friends and in particular,  Virginia who I hadn’t seen for many years and because of Facebook we got in touch again.  We had a wonderful trip to New York to see William Shakespeare’s Broadway production of Merchant of Venice.  Afterwards, we went to Sardi’s where I had never been before, and Virginia unknowingly sat right under an early caricature of Al Pacino who played the role of Shylock in the Broadway production and in the movie. 

I am really grateful for my comfy bed where I am blessed to be able to rest and sleep every night! 
I am grateful for the beauty and the miracle of Gloxinia which is incomprehensible!!
I am grateful for my wonderful indoor winter garden which adds so much joy to my dining room.
There is so much to be grateful for, this blog is going to be longer than expected!
I am grateful for the bounty of our Thanksgiving table even before the dinner is upon it.
I am grateful for all of my pets and in particular our two new puppies, Daisy and Paris, sister and brother born June 22, 2010.

I am grateful for all of the beauty of the world and the people in it, and for soft candlelit evenings, but also for electricity and running water.  I really do believe in reincarnation because for some strange reason I find myself saying alot of times while standing at a sink “Thank God for running water!”

I am grateful for my sweet vintage owl planter filled with gold alstroemeria and purple snapdragons; beautiful autumn colors.  The owl symbolism is also meaningful to me and signifies insight, wisdom, and protection.  And I am also  grateful for the Villanova Garden Club’s workshop on flower arranging on a candlestick. 
I am lastly grateful that Deepak Chopra smiled in this photograph; it was questionable whether he would or not.
  I am also grateful that I was able to attend this lecture that Transformations Holistic Learning Center presented last night.  I am grateful for people like Deepak Chopra who share their study and research with the world to help us all learn and grow and expand beyond our limited five senses.  It really is one of My Greatest Joys to study the Meaning of Life!
